Studio 1112 is a light consultancy firm located at 290 Carlaw Ave., Unit 204, in the heart of Leslieville, downtown Toronto.
Chris Gagnier and Wayne Thomson have been in the Toronto lighting industry for 30+ years – their first venture was AuCourant in Designers Walk opened in 1983. They have successfully serviced Toronto’s A&D community ever since.
Chris & Wayne launched Studio 1112 in 2008 adopting a very unique business model that would service the Design / Architectural community.
Studio 1112 Business Model - 4-pillar strategy:
- lighting design – RCP development
- source premium lighting fixtures from global suppliers that are specific to the project’s design intent.
- purchase and supply all lighting materials for the project – deliver to site on time/early.
- project management: attend site meetings, deal with contractors to solve any issues on site – avoid unnecessary delays
